About Us
Tamworth rugby union football club was established in 1925 and rugby was played in Tamworth Castle ground. The club grew and was soon looking for a place to call home. In the 1970's Tamworth borough council offered Wigginton Lodge to the club and members soon got started on making it into the club we know today. We have a thriving junior section,from mini's to Colts, a growing girls and ladies section and senior rugby from Vets to 1st team.
We have an exceptional function room for hire, hosting everything from weddings, christening, birthday parties and children's parties. We are a family friendly pub and look forward to welcoming you to the home of Tamworth Rugby.
